Janelle, the kids and I had such a good time together last time we had an all day play date at her house that we decided to squeeze one more day in before the girls went back to school. Janelle and her 3 kids came over yesterday morning. I think Anna-Kate didn't even get a "hello" in before she was holding hands with Ella Ann running down our hallway to Ella Ann's bedroom! Honestly we saw them when we feed them lunch and a couple of times thereafter but mainly they stayed in Ella Ann's room the entire time.....I'm guessing to keep the little boys out?!?! Poor Rane and Ryan, they got the door shut in their faces several times....they never made it in! Ryan is a little over 2 but Rane really liked having a boy buddy and they did play together for a little while in the play room. I could hear them laughing while they played in the ball pit. So cute! Janelle and I, once again, enjoyed nice, long conversations...especially after we put all 3 boys to bed and we ate lunch! We do all day play dates with them because they live about 18 miles away from us and in Atlanta that is like FOREVER away! So we are sure to make the most of our time together when we see one another! Ella Ann and Anna-Kate had a blast playing together and Ella Ann was not happy at all about them leaving! We are going to do lunch after church in a couple of weeks so even after school starts we are going to try really hard to keep up with our friendships!

Rane really likes babies and he is very sweet/gentle with them, surprisingly so! He was trying to make Jack stop fussing by "feeding" him a toy carrot!
Ryan dancing to the music coming from the barn on our fridge. He and Rane would just spin in circles when the music came on and laugh and laugh!
Of course they stayed dressed in princess gear all day!
Today Ella Ann was invited to Caroline's house to play. This is Ella Ann's best friend from preschool and she hadn't seen her all summer so she was super excited to go! She's never even met Caroline's mom or been to Caroline's house (or seen her since May) but she ran inside the house and didn't even say goodbye! I dropped her off at 11 this morning and Caroline's mom brought her home at 3. I got a little taste of what it's going to be like without her all day when she starts school on Monday.....I will miss her so!
We have another play date at Andria's house on Thursday with our group of friends so Ella Ann is going to be maxed out with friends this week.....just the way she likes it!
